Elderly "Check In" Program Information Links
Beginning on March 4, 2008, the Pelham Police Department  launched a new program specific to our elderly population. This program was developed in an attempt to make sure our growing senior population can remain independent for as long as possible.

In the coming year, the Pelham Police Department plans to launch several additional programs specific to our elderly population. These programs will include, Senior Citizen Police Academy, AARP Driver Safety Program, Operation Safe Return and The Vial of Life.

Lieutenant Brian McCarthy has been designated as the new “Elderly Services Officer”. This new position will give the elderly population a liaison between the elderly community and the Police Department, in an effort to address any concerns or needs they may have.

For more information check out our Pelham message board post or call Lt. Brian McCarthy at 635-2411.
