Pelham Police Department to host Bicycle Safety Day

 On June 15, 2013, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Pelham Police Department will be hosting a bicycle safety day at the Pelham Police Department.

 With the warmer weather upon us and summer months approaching, more kids are taking to the streets with their bicycles. The Pelham Police Department’s goal is to promote bicycle safety, make sure the kids are utilizing bicycle safety equipment and they are riding safely.

 Activities will include the following:

 ·         A free bicycle helmet give away for the first 150 kids who arrive; (Helmet’s Donated by

     Target of Salem, New Hampshire).

  • A free bicycle registration program for those interested in registering their bicycles with the Police Department;


  • A free bicycle check-up provided by Goodale’s Bike and Ski;


  • A police motorcycle display along with our SWAT Bearcat vehicle;


  • Laser Tag provided by Rolling Video Games of New Hampshire;


  • Hot dogs, cotton candy and Popcorn provided by Chunky’s;


  • And much more!
